The studio is a safe space for my creative investigations of the internal and external realities of our humanity and the natural word. The studio space was a old chicken coop built with WPA money to provide work for those living in the Chama River Valley of Northern New Mexico. Debra Fritts and I tried to keep some of the historic integrity of the original structure by maintaining the original footprint and saving some of the windows and wooden support beams. I feel it is simply an extension of our home.
